General English Certificates
1. FCE – Fist Certificate in English
FCE tečaj se održava kroz 78 sati nastave.
The most widely taken of all the Cambridge EFL exams. It is an upper-intermediate level examination requiring knowledge of all the language skills. FCE has widespread recognition in commerce and industry, e. g. for public contact or secretarial work in banking, airlines, catering, etc., and in individual university faculties, polytechnics and other institutions. This exam is often taken after approx. 500 to 600 hours of study and is linked to the Council of Europe B2 language level.

2. CAE – Certificate in Advanced English
CEA tečaj se održava kroz 93 sata nastave.
Indicates a high level of competence in English for learners who are reaching a standard of English that is adequate for most purposes, including business and study. It is recognised by the majority of British universities as proof of adequate language skills for courses taught and assessed in English. It is linked to the Council of Europe C1 language level and it takes about 750-800 hours of study to prepare for it.

3. CPE – Certificate of Proficiency in English
CPE tečaj se održava kroz 116 sati nastave.
The longest established and highest language qualification in this series. It indicates a level of competence and is recognised by institutions of higher education in many countries, including almost all universities in the United Kingdom. Employers throughout the world also recognise CPE. It is linked to the Council of Europe C2 language level and it takes about 950-1050 hours of study to prepare for it.

BEC Preliminary tečaj se održava kroz 70 sati nastave.
An examination for elementary and lower-intermediate level candidates. This level is equivalent to Cambridge level 1 (PET) and is linked and to the Council of Europe B1 language level.

BEC Higher tečaj se održava kroz 93 sata nastave.
Aimed at students who have already acquired or are acquiring business and/or office skills. Learners at this level are expected to be able to handle complex structures and demonstrate knowledge of a wide range of vocabulary. This examination is at an advanced level similar to Cambridge level 4 (CAE) and is linked to the Council of Europe C1 language level.

Kada se održavaju ESOL ispiti?
ESOL ispiti se održavaju u suradnji s British Councilom u ožujku, lipnju i prosincu svake godine. Preko 2 milijuna ljudi godišnje polaže Cambridge ESOL ispite kako bi stekli vodeće međunarodno priznate diplome engleskog jezika kao uvjet pri upisu na fakultet, pri zaposlenju ili napredovanju u karijeri. ESOL diplome priznaje većina svjetskih sveučilišta, poduzeća i državnih službi. Cambridge ESOL ispite provodi British Council a izrađeni su prema standardima Vijeća Europe i ALTE-a, te testiraju 4 jezične vještine: čitanje, pisanje, slušanje i govor.

Kako bismo našim polaznicima uštedili vrijeme i olakšali administrativni postupak prilikom prijave za ove ispite, nije potrebno kontaktirati British Council, već to prepustite nama, bez dodatne naknade.
Stupnjevi prema Vijeću Europe i ALTE-u
Kako bi olakšali učenje modernih jezika Vijeće Europe je u suradnji sa ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe – europsko udruženje za izradu testova iz stranih jezika) napravilo set standarda u učenju jezika, koji je razumljiv u svim zemljama i institucijama. Jedan od tih standarda je i poredak od 6 stupnjeva poznavanja jezika.
CEF – Common European Framework dijeli učenike stranih jezika u tri široke skupine koje se dijele na 6 stupnjeva:
